Cancer Inhibitors in Food
Do you think cancer as a mighty sword that can reach down and hurt any and all of us? At any time?
If you do, then you should think again. Exciting new research shows that nature gives us weapons that can fight back. And these weapons are not in exotic places. They are in common foods.
The substances I am talking about are not considered nutrients, because their absence does not cause a deficiency disease. These substances are little-known food elements. Only a handful of research scientists are familiar with them.
Scientists call them inhibitors. In laboratory animals, these substances show an impressive ability to inhibit the cancer process.
How Cancer Inhibitors Work
A cancer agent, such as one found in cigarette smoke, might cause cancer in half of the animals that are exposed to it. But when an inhibitor is given along with the cancer-causing chemical, fewer animals will develop cancer. The inhibitor prevents the cancer-causing chemical from doing its damage.

Fats: What You Should Know about It
Food Fats
Food fats or dietary fats are white or yellowish greasy material, found in both animals and plants. Pure fat lacks color, odor, and taste, and it exists both as a liquid and as a solid.
During digestion, fat is broken down in the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine, just past the stomach) to fatty acids and glycerol. As a food, its primary value and importance are as a fuel – a source of body energy. It is the most concentrated food we have, and it possesses more than twice the caloric value of carbohydrates or protein. Every ounce of fat has the same value as every other – whether it is an ounce of butter or an ounce of cottonseed oil. One type of fat, however, may be more easily assimilated, or absorbed, thus more accessible, than another. In northern America, the fats eaten most often are in the form of eggs, margarine, butter, meat, cream, nuts, and such oils as olive oil and vegetable oil.

Your Body Needs Herbal Teas
Which Herbal Teas Fit Your Blood Type?
Herbal teas provide most of the blood types with an enormous advantage. Concoctions of herbs have been used for aeons to treat a host of illnesses, real and imagined. Today, they are widely available commercially and have been rightly restored to a place of honor in most homes.
Type O
Herbal teas can be used by type Os to shore up their strength against natural weakness. The primary emphasis for Type Os is on soothing the digestive and immune systems. Liquorice can soothe the stomach irritations that are common to Type Os. A liquorice preparation called DGL can be found in health food stores. It is safe to use because it doesn’t contain component in raw liquorice that can raise blood pressure. Herbs such as peppermint, parsley, rose hips, and sarsaparilla all have a soothing effect. Alfalfa, aloe, burdock, and corn silk cause non-specific immune stimulation of Type O, which can exacerbate immune diseases.

Secretor, Non-secretor, and Syndrome X
Knowing your blood type or blood group and subgroups is one way to discover specific information about your body’s genetic makeup and susceptibility to disease. This is true for me, as a key in my effort to overcome the kidney stone I’ve got two years ago. Now I and my family apply blood type diet in our daily menus and we are very healthy more than ever. It is very important to know your blood type.
Do you know your blood type?
There are several ways to find out your blood type:
- Donate blood. Also note that blood banks will often perform a blood type test for a fee, even if you don’t wish to give blood.
- Ask your doctor; but don’t be surprised if he or she doesn’t know. When blood is drawn for routine cholesterol screening or other factors, blood typing is not normally done unless it has been requested.
- There are at-home blood type testing kits available in health stores or drugstores.

Listening to Music Benefits Your Health
Result of New Study
A new study found that people who listened to music that made them feel good had a 26 % increase in blood flow in their brachial artery, located in the upper arm, for about an hour afterward. This increase in blood flow indicates that the blood vessel expanded, which reflects a healthy output of nitric acid, a good-for-your-heart chemical that makes blood vessels function better and helps regulate blood flow, explains study leader Michael Miller, M.D., director of the Center for Preventive Cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Anxiety-provoking music, on the other hand, had the opposite effect. When study participants listened to music that made them feel anxious, their blood flow decreased by 6 percent.

Reflexology: Natural Way of Healing
My Story
In most Asia regions, you can easily find the practice of reflexology everywhere. In attempt to heal my body from the second-time kidney stone (nephrolithiasis), I visited a medical doctor in Jakarta, who incorporates alternative therapy in his practice, in which he massaged me with reflexology method. He knows which area on my feet and hand should be pressed (massaged) that would improve the kidney and urinary tract condition. Then, he didn’t give me conventional medical prescription for kidney stone, but herbal prescription formulated to destroy the kidney stone in natural way. In a couple of days he massaged me again with reflexology. Each session of massage lasted for about 30 minutes. The goal of the reflexology massage is to improve the immune system and targeted illed body’s organ. I feel that this natural method of healing worked for my case.

The Miracle of Colostrum
The Miracle in My Life
Bovine (cow) colostrum really help me in effort to heal my kidney stone disease. I haven’t known colostrum previously, until one day my friend introduced it to me. He urged me to drink the colostrum he brought. My response was carefully read the information on the sachet. I thought that kind of milk was safe and would benefit my health in consideration that my blood type is B. According the blood- type science, dairy products is very much beneficial only for those whose Type B blood. So, I drank one sachet (for a cup) that day, and then two sachets the next day.
What I could feel after drinking those colostrum was fitness and the pain I’ve got was released. The next morning, when I was urinating, the urinary tract stone was passing out of my body. That fact was unbelievable, but so real! For me, it is a miracle of my life.

Sleep: Vital for Your Health and Longevity
Sleep is a period of rest – averaging 8 hours – with partial suspension of consciousness and physical and mental activity. Physiological activity is reduced and the body is enabled to repair itself by eliminating wastes and replenishing depleted tissues with needed constituents. The pulse rate slows down, blood pressure falls, breathing is slower and deeper, the temperature drops to its lowest level for the day, the basal metabolism is reduced, and the cerebrum (higher brain) is inactive except for dreams.
The amount of sleep needed varies mostly according to age, but everyone should have enough awaken rested and refreshed.
- the normal adult requires 6.5 to 8 hours of sleep
- the aged, 6 hours;
- children of 2-3 yers old, 12-13 hours;
- infants, almost all of the time.
For person who tire easily, an afternoon nap of about an hour is helpful. Coffee or tea drunk late at night often causes sleeplessness. The habit of taking sleeping pills is bad, as they depress vital functions and produce dependence upon them.

Really Healthy? Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water is so important for good health. When you were a kid in school, you learned that each molecule of water is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. You may also have learned that it was great fun to fill up your squirt guns with water, at least until the principal caught you. What you may not have learned, however, was how much water you needed in order to be a healthy human being.
Why You Need to Drink Water
Your body is estimated to be about 60% to 70% water. Blood is mostly water, and your muscles, lungs, and brain all contain a lot of water. Your body needs water to regulate body temperature and to provide the means for nutrients to travel to all your organs. Water also transports oxygen to your cells, removes waste, and protects your joints and organs.
